Important advices:
Please fill the application out completely, meaning write down a valid phone number, email-address and everything else. Otherwise your application cannot be accepted. Please write down a phone number or an Email address which you often check - in case you are not available for more than 3-4 times, your application will be cancelled.
If you do not fill in all marked gaps, your application will not be saved in our database - in this case there will be some notification such as "data error".
In case of invalid applications, for instance missing data or applicatipns for closed lists, we do not inform you about it. These applications will be cancelled or thrown away.
Who can move in?
..everyone who has not reached a degree (e.g. Master) at the time of moving in and who is enrolled at one of the universities of Aachen. It is allowed to move in 3 months before the beginning of the academic studies but the student ID is to be shown to the Studentenwerk by the time it is received.
When can I apply?
Of course by the beginning of a semester "everybody" is looking for a room. Thus, you should consider applying earlier than 2 months before you need a room. It is also very helpful to accept to move in a little bit earlier than you need to, e.g. you need a room for September. Then you should at least apply in June and in case you get an invitation for august, you may accept that and be happy to have gotten a room ;)
How can I apply?
You can apply directly online on this page. There´s also the option to send the application by mail, but it takes longer until it is finally saved in our database. Furthermore you don´t have advantages: fotos and curriculum vitae will be thrown away.
Important:
You have to confirm your interest every second month via mail. Then we prolong your application for two month again. Also if you were invited to a flat you have to confirm the application!
It would be helpful to let us know if your interest for getting a room has vanished.

After sending the online form, a confirmation will be shown in your internet-browser, when the application comes in our database. You don´t get an extra confirmation mail!
